  2.6.2007  - London International Martial Arts Hall of Fame 2007  
 

Am Samstag den 2.Juni 2007 fand die "International Martial Arts Hall of Fame 2007" in London statt. Organisiert wurde die Veranstaltung von TY-GA Karate International und vom "Action Martial Arts Magazine / USA". Einige Vertreter der "European SinMooHapkido Community" demonstrierten ihr Können und wurden im Rahmen des "award-banquetes" ausgezeichnet.

 

 

International Martial Arts Hall of Fame 2007 in London on the 2nd of June.

This year for this honorable prize were nominated representatives of different styles including Sin Moo Hapkido. This Award Ceremony is being held for several years and is one of the World’s highest class yearly awards in martial arts and the most important in Europe.

Juerg Ziegler (9.Dan, Switzerland) is awarded as "Excellence in Martial Arts".

Sin Moo Hapkido representatives Walter Hubman (8.Dan, Austria), Massan Ghorbani (8. Dan, Ireland), Rupert Wohlmut, (7. Dan Austria), Herman Mochalin (6. Dan, Latvia) received awards as “Master of the Year”.

All nominees leaded master-classes and presented different techniques.

International Martial Arts Hall of Fame was held during the June, 2, 2007.

It took place in Guaman Hotel, London, UK with many Masters participating with individual master classes. This event is the most important and famous martial arts meeting in Europe. Many martial arts magazines as Black Belt, Taekwondo Times, Combat, etc., attended that event. This year Sinmoo Hapkido was also nominated.

Awards:
"Excellence in Martial Arts" - GM Juerg Ziegler - 9 dan, European Sinmoo Hapkido Association President, European Sinmoo Hapkido Community Chairman.
"Master of the Year" - Massan Ghorbani - 8 dan, Master representative for UK, Ireland, Iran.
"Master of the Year" - Walter Hubmann - 8 dan, Master representative for Austria, Hungary.
"Master of the Year" - Rupert Wohlmut - 7 dan, Austrian Sinmoo Hapkido Association instructor.
"Master of the Year" - Herman Mochalin - 6 dan, Master representative for Eastern Europe.

Besides Monica Ziegler was awarded with "Master of the Year" award for the development of Win Chun KungFu in Europe. And GM Zieglers twins sons were awarded as "Students of the Year". After the succesfull Sinmoo Hapkido style demonstration GM Juerg Ziegler was elected as to the Director's Council of International Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
