15.3. - 16.3.2008 - SinMooHapkido Headquarter in Budapest opens the doors.
SinMooHapkido was first time introduced in Hungary on March 2004 by master Walter Hubmann, 8th Dan and the Austrian SinMooHapkido Demo Team during a TaekwonDo Competition that was held in Budapest.
Since this time many instructional seminars in Budapest and a training camp in Bozsok were given and found more and more Hapkido practitioners they want to follow the original Hapkido style from dojunim Ji Han-Jae. Since 2005 Dr. Mikl
ós Hodosi (at that time 3rd dan Taekwondo, 2nd dan GHF Hapkido) took part in many master seminars in Graz/Austria, organized seminars in Budapest and established a regular training group in Budapest. A second dojang followed and was opened by Zenmushindo founder Bernát Koczka (10th Dan Zenmushindo).On March 2006, Dr. Miklós Hodosi was appointed as the Hungarian representative for SinMooHapkido and was put in charge of the Austrian and European SinMooHapkido Association. Now it was time to build an own professional dojang and to establish the Hungarian headquarter.
On March, 15th and 16th the new dojang and Hungarian heardquarter, situated in the historical downtown of Budapest, opened the doors. After a short opening ceremony Master Walter Hubmann held a master seminar and did a review of the main SinMooHapkido syllabus. After two days strenuous training all teachers are prepared for their responsible work. Three SinMooHapkido dojangs are working now in the country. Two dojangs are located in Budapest (Dr. Miklós Hodosi and Bernát Koczka) and one dojang is located in Szeged (Ferenc Kasza).
